艾頓1998年7月23日出生于巴哈馬拿騷，系巴哈馬職業(yè)籃球運(yùn)動員。艾頓于2018年以選秀狀元的身份被太陽隊選中，進(jìn)入NBA。2018-19賽季，艾頓入選NBA最佳新秀陣容一陣。2023年9月28，波特蘭開拓者隊與雄鹿、太陽進(jìn)行三方交易，艾頓被送往開拓者。2025年6月，艾頓與開拓者達(dá)成買斷協(xié)議，成為自由球員；同年7月，艾頓加盟湖人隊。

2024-25賽季，艾頓為開拓者出戰(zhàn)40場比賽，場均得到14.4分10.2籃板1.6助攻0.8搶斷1.0蓋帽，三項命中率為56.6/18.8/66.7%。
